The Hilal for the month of Sha‘ban 1447 AH was
SIGHTED
by the CHC subcommittee Ulama and members in
Atlanta, GA and
Tampa, FL
on the sunset of
Monday, January 19, 2026.
Based on verified moon sighting reports and confirmation by the Central Hilal Committee of North America, the month of Rajab will complete 29 days.
Accordingly, the Central Hilal Committee of North America has declared:
Tuesday, January 20, 2026
will be the first day of Sha‘ban 1447 AH
