Monthly Moonsighting is a Farḍ Kifāyah (communal obligation in Islam). It ensures accuracy in Islamic dates and ‘Ibādāt like Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha, and helps preserve our Islamic identity and heritage.

📌 Life Events to Track

• Hijri Birth Date (for Islamic age and adulthood)
• Zakat Calculation
• Aqiqah (7th day after Birth)
• Nikāh Date
• Death Date

🌙 Monthly Sunnah Practices

• Fasting the Full Moon Days: 13th, 14th, 15th
• Hijāmah (Cupping): 17th, 19th, 21st

🗓 Important Dates (Rabi’ul Awwal 1447 / Aug – Sep 2025)

• 🕌 12 Rabi’ul Awwal – Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ
• 🌙 13th, 14th, 15th – Sunnah Fasting Days
• 💉 17th, 19th, 21st – Sunnah Days for Hijāmah (Cupping)
• 🌙 29 Rabi’ul Awwal (Sept 22) – Moonsighting Night
